Casey Hewitt

Casey Hewitt is a self-taught oil painter, originally from the Sunshine Coast and now based in Thornbury Melbourne. She works with oils on wooden board to depict vibrant glassware and often faceless portraiture. Her pieces are playful in colour and often lean into capturing a mood of nostalgia. More recently exploring Melbourne, her works are inspired by the endless glass bricks you can find throughout the city, capturing the refractions and colours hidden within.
